ARTIST’S STATEMENT
the Space between
Observation
My paintings begin with observation.
Light on glass. Reflections on metal. The movement of water. Small moments that become paintings.

MATERIAL
Oil asks for patience. It dries slowly, so each painting grows layer by layer, leaving room to pause, return and decide again. In that slowness, the digital image I carry in my mind takes on weight, texture and light.

I search for the point where structure begins to breathe.
For many years I worked in international business, where every decision followed long analysis and ended in a bold step. Travelling between continents, trusting both numbers and instinct, I learned to live between precision and intuition. Painting became the place where those two ways of thinking finally met.
